coloured with my copics...
and dusted with Chunky White Frantage...
I found these buttons in my stash and remembered that they were left over from a sweater that I knit for Jordan when he was two...lol!!!...
the "Happy Birthday" sentiment is LOTV...
the one that sits behind I melted sliver, white and denim embossing powder then stamped the same LOTV sentiment into it...
the inside sentiment is computer generated...
the stamp is "Amanda Blows Candle" HMFR1001...

Midway Reminder at Simply Magnolia-"Embossing (wet or dry)"

Happy Sunday dear blogging friends and welcome to my second post of the day!!

For my very FIRST Totally Tilda post of earlier today please go HERE!!!

I'm here today with a midway reminder to come on over and join us at Simply Magnolia!!!  You still have until 12 pm. (GMT) Saturday...April 4th! Our winner for this challenge will win a Guest Designer spot...we'd love for you to join us!!

Now for me this challenge is a super easy one as I LOVE embossing...both wet and dry...but especially the wet as it means that I get to use my beloved Frantage!!!!!  I decided to make an Easter card for my darling Granddaughter Mia!!

Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
I made an envelope style card with an insert...
the card using "Tilda with Inez the Bunny" from the Animal of the Year 2014 collection...
I coloured them with my distress re-inkers...
the DP is Maja from the Sofiero Collection...
then added a heart/lace border using a Martha Stewart punch...
Tilda is matted on two Go Kreate dies...#360030 & #120030...
 closer view...
I tucked some cheesecloth around the edges of the smaller die cut...
the top of the card close up...
"Happy Easter" is Hero Arts...
the stick pin runs through a lace crocheted heart...
I added some small blue beads, chiffon ribbon, shabby seam binding and a rabbit charm...
the banner die is Spellbinders Large Banners...
for the insert I ran a piece of the same Maja paper through a Cuddlebug script embossing folder...
this is "Little Hoppy" sorry not sure what collection...
I added some more lace and a small flower arrangement...
and of course Frantage!!!...
the pull for the insert I made with ribbon seam binding and crystal strand...
 closer view...
the sentiment is a Magnolia stamp from the Hoppy Easter 2010 collection...
and this is the back of the insert...
you can just make ou the script writing embossed on it...
I will add our personalized sentiment to it for Easter...

Well that's three Easter cards...one more to go!!  So now hop on over to Simply Magnolia and then come play along with us!!!

Happy Wednesday dear blogging friends!!

I'm so excited to be here today with my first Midweek Magnolias DT post!!!!  Any of you who visit me must have figured out by now that I LOVE my Maggies...so to be able to work along side such a TALENTED team as the Midweek Girls...well...this is one HAPPY girl here!!

So for my first  Midweek Magnolias DT project I thought I should add to my ever expanding Tilda Town!!  I'm actually looking into having a very large table/counter made so that I may begin assembling my village!!

Here is "Tilda Garden"...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
it was really hard to photograph this...I just couldn't get the lighting perfect...
I began with an large egg tray...painted it green, added moss, pots, flowers, some die cut/punched butterflies and acrylic ladybugs and bees that I had in my stash...
I inked an embossing folder with Tea Dye distress ink and ran it through my machine in order to make the "Garden Shed"...
closer view of shed and two sweet Tildas working the land...
 this is "Seeding Tilda"...
coloured with my copics...
I think (not positive) it is from the Sweet Rainbow Collection...
this is "Garden Tilda" from the Sweet Rainbow Collection...
this little darling is "Tilda with Summer Pants" from the Pink Lemonade 2014 Collection...
and finally we have "Tilda with a Big Rose" from Pink Lemonade 2014 Collection...

And that is "Tilda Garden"...once again I apologize for the lighting!!  Please hop on over to Midweek Magnolias and check out the GORGEOUS creations that my new team mates have made!!
